On January 31 Tomas attended his first day of kindie at coogee public school, located right across the street from us. Tomas was do excited as he had waited a long time for this day. He happily endured photos and hugs from Mike and i for a while…. then he was off, waving us good bye. He was the first kid to arrive in class. As soon as another kid arrived Tomas immediately introduced himself and said “let’s play”. I knew from that moment he would be ok. Although I felt waves of emotion all day, I kept the tears at bay. He is so grown up!
