Today we had a breakfast bbq by the beach to celebrate Ethan’s 2nd birthday. There were 6 other kids aside from Tomas and Ethan and we set up t-ball for the kids to play although they just ran around on the grass for the most part.
Ethan was so enthrawled with his cake that he barely left its side! This year I made a Wilson train cake from the Chugginton tv show that Ethan loves so much. He has a Wilson train at home and so is most familiar with that one (although he knows the names of all the chuggers on the show). I was impressed that Ethan recognized the cake right away and said “It’s Wilson!” in an excited voice! He also recognized a photo of himself in one of the windows of the train. So glad he enjoyed his cake!
Happy birthday my sweet little guy! I can barely believe you’re 2 already!
Check out the video of the kids singing happy birthday to Ethan (a song he knows only too well – as we have been singing it every day since his birthday on the 1st and he’s been blowing out candles all the while!)
