This year we had a Halloween birthday party as one of Ethan’s mates has the same birthday and had already booked his party in Nov 1.
We were pretty excited to host a Halloween party tho …this being one of our favourite holidays. So we made a haunted house in the granny flat and had a mini pumpkin painting station, along with the usual party games – all of which was a big hit.
Ethan invited 13 friends, but with siblings it ended up being a crew of 21!!
It was a full house of children and parents. The kids oddly enough were enthralled with our staircase – didn’t see that one coming. I suppose tradition Aussie homes are one level, so it was a novelty.
The cake was a monster mash – a Giant pumpkin head with Frankenstein popping through it. A bit freaky but that didn’t bother anyone!
When the party was over, Ethan immediately asked if we could do that again!!! What a party animal!
