Darling Harbour Splash Park

A week or so ago, Tomas, Ethan and I along with our dear friends, Vicky, Sophie (3 years) and Audrey (9 months) went to a new splash park in the City. It was amazing! The main area of the park was set up as a braided river system where you could alter the path of water flow with gateways. The various channels of water were about 1 to 3 feet in diameter and there were areas that acted like pools where you could let the water level build up. AND a key feature was the large canopy umbrellas that provided shade along the perimeter where families where picnicking!

Other areas of the park included a fountain splash pad, a mechanics area, where you could alter the path of water flow through troughs and pumps and faucets, a sand pit, a climbing web, and a sliding fox. Tomas and Ethan enjoyed every minute as you can see in the photos below.
