We went camping this April with three lovely families at our favourite spot, the Bonivale Campground in Bundeena, at the Royal National Park. Highlights of this adventure included catching crabs and taking them back to our campsite for ‘observation’ – pretty sure no crab was injured in this process, swiming, treking along the north head at Bundeena – now we know where the coastal trek goes for next time, and feeding a large hungry monitor lizard, and of course glow in the dark/head lamp adventures at night.
The coastal walk along the headlands at Bundeena. Beautiful views and beaches.
Our friend, the goanna, who loooved sausage! Ethan was thrilled to toss sausage bits for him – from a distancce of course.
Bring yabbies to the surface with the pump – great time for inspection by all the kids!
At our campsite: a bit of mindfulness colouring-in and our crab collection (only one was brave enough to poke his head up)
Watamolla beach – somuch to offer: beautiful picnic areas, shall estuary for little ones to swim, and the open ocean….ahhhh
Nice that the guys had some down time ….literally!
