We came across the Coogee Rock Pool today and it was undergoing a routine clean by the Council. Basically they pump the water out and power wash the ROCK walls which tend to get an algae build up over time.

The pool had been emptied, but not power washed ….yet. These two monkeys got in and upon discovering some marine life, did these animals a service by moving them to deeper water. Saved creatures included giant sea slugs, crabs, a tiny fish, and sea urchins.

Not sure about these giant sea dlugs climbing out of the coffee cup lid!
