It’s Autumn and funny enough there is a deciduous tree in our backyard that has shed its leaves. We waited for quite a while until a pile accumulated worthy of our attention….

And the collection begins with no end in sight! The source? The Liquidambar. Common planted street tree around Sydney. Also known as American sweet gum, an invasive species.
